One of the most complete sites for information about dogs is North Bay Canine Rescue and Placement. If you're in the North Bay Area of California, please look into their services if you want to adopt a pet.

We try to keep our links updated as much as we can, but frankly, it's more important for us to take care of unwanted animals. Ani Med: This site has a broad collection of pet care information.

CyberPet: Another extensive site for dogs and cats including a breed selector.

PlanetPets: Not limited to dogs and cats, this site includes most pets. Has an excellent description of the characteristics of each dog and cat breed, and also provides some general character insights.

Click And Treat and the website hosted by The Public Broadcasting System are both good dog training sites.
