Special Note from Cindi, the Cat Team Leader :

Effective immediately and ending Jan 31st, the adoption donation is $25.00 for all kitties 6 months or age and older. (born prior to August 1st) .

Most of our kitties in Foster Care fit that age so we hope to adopt more in the next month, making room for more in Foster Care!! .

Normal adoption donations of 50.00 for 1 or 80.00 for two will apply for kitties under the age of 6 months.

Please pass this notice to your friends and family. They may know someone that is looking for an addition to their family.

Calaveras Humane Society Debuts New Merchandise Line

San Andreas, CA…”Got A Kitty? Get a Kitty” is just one of the sayings on the new CHS line of apparel, including t-shirts, hoodies and hats. “I Gave My Heart To Animals”, “My Life Has Gone To The Dogs” and “Who Rescued Who” are other sayings on our uniquely designed items. And, the precious photo of a snuggling dog and cat with the phrase, “This Is Why” on a colorful t-shirt rounds out the apparel line. The featured smiling cat in the photo is Daisey, the epitome of a happy ending story…she was trapped as a feral cat, tamed and adopted to a loving forever home and has become best buddies with her canine “brother” Chessie.

Branded items with the infamous CHS logo will also be part of our line, featuring traveler mugs, license plate frames, fanny packs, shopping bags, cloth Frisbees and more.

All these items will be available at the new CHS “Wags & Purrs” store at our headquarters office in San Andreas, as well as at the CHS Arnold Thrift Store.
